Joe Barker

Joe graduated from the International Film School of Wales in 2005 where he studied Film and Video, specializing in documentary.  After University he spent a couple of years working as a camera operator, researcher and production assistant and is a Final Cut Pro editor.  Joe spent a month at BBC Storyville before working freelance for Tigerlily Films in June/July 2008, he joined the company full time in the August of that year and works across a variety of roles.  During the latter half of 2008 he was Production Co-ordinator and Archive researcher on Ben Hopkins’ feature length historical documentary NAPLES OPEN CITY.  Most recently he has been working with Director Enrica Colusso as Assistant Producer on her ongoing observational film ELEPHANT AND CASTLE, was AP on a set of idents for HONDA and Channel 4, and is currently working with Director Mark Kidel on a project based in Bristol.  Joe also has several of his own projects in development.
